Sierra Sun: New Truckee Library to double as emergency resource center

Truckee Regional Library will serve as a safe and accessible Emergency Resource Center during periods of high wildfire danger, extreme weather and other emergencies, providing back-up power, communications infrastructure, and full accessibility for people with disabilities to support residents during wildfires, smoky days, power outages, extreme weather, and other emergencies.
